In order to strengthen the cooperation between the east and the west, and further strengthen the exchanges and exchanges between ethnic groups, the folk art troupe of Seni District, Naqu City, Tibet came to Chun ‘an, Hangzhou to perform cultural exchanges. The event was guided by the Chun ‘an County People’s Government and the tenth batch of Hangzhou Tibet Aid Working Group, and jointly sponsored by Chun ‘an County Culture, Radio, Film and Television Tourism and Sports Bureau and Sene District Culture and Tourism Bureau. The activities were divided into three sessions: Pearl Square, Fu Wang Township and Huoshanjian Community.
On November 19th, the exchange performance officially started. On this day, there was fog on the lake and haze in the mountains. On the Pearl Square near Thousand Island Lake, a simple stereo and a microphone made the Chinese and Tibetan literary and art workers sing and dance together, and also closely linked the friendship between the two peoples. The warm and cheerful atmosphere of Tibetan dance infected every audience at the scene. Enthusiastic citizens of Chun ‘an, business cadres of cultural centers and cast members of Water Soul Theater respectively improvised magic, acrobatics, Peking Opera and stand-up crosstalk, which made Tibetan compatriots full of praise!
The second performance was a grass-roots performance of literature and art, which was staged in the Cultural Auditorium of Fu Wang Village, Fu Wang Township on November 20th. A piece of pot dance, a Tibetan song, and the cultural customs of the Han and Tibetan ethnic groups are intertwined, and they are wonderfully interpreted on the big stage to help the rural revitalization, winning applause from the audience. The atmosphere of on-site cultural exchange is rich, and the villagers in Fu Wang Village can appreciate the cultural charm thousands of miles away through this performance.
On the evening of November 22nd, the “highlight” of this event was staged in Huolujian Community of Qiandao Lake Town. A cheerful opening dance with the unique characteristics of northern Tibet, “Happy Songs with Colored Sleeves”, kicked off the performance. Tibetan dances such as “Simple Shepherd Girl” and “Snowy Man” let the people in Chun ‘an enjoy the unique charm of Tibetan culture and art, while simple songs such as “Happy Hometown”, “Love in Qiangtang” and “Helping Brother Tibet” express the gratitude and infinite yearning of farmers and herdsmen for a better life.
Ms. Yu, a citizen of Chun ‘an, said: “The dance of Tibetan compatriots is really infectious. I can’t go to Tibet because of my busy work. I will take more videos and pictures to share with my family!” The performance ended in a superb group dance “Reba”, and the applause lasted for a long time.
The Party’s Report to the 20th CPC National Congress proposed to “strengthen and improve the Party’s ethnic work with the main line of building a strong sense of the Chinese nation community.” Next, Chun ‘an will continue to take the opportunity of cooperation and counterpart support between the east and the west, build a platform for exchanges and exchanges among all ethnic groups, actively carry out demonstration and creation of national unity and progress, and create a social atmosphere in which people of all ethnic groups unite with the party.
