Take the city railway to Hangzhou, and in 26 minutes, you can transfer from Keqiao in Shaoxing to Xiaoshan Girl Bridge Station of Hangzhou Metro; 39 minutes, from Jiaxing Haining to Yuhang High Speed Railway Station, transfer to Hangzhou Metro. The commuting distance between the two cities from the main city of Hangzhou is approximately one hour, initially achieving one hour commuting in urban areas.

In order to reduce the transfer time for passengers, the Hangzhou Haicheng Railway connects with the Hangzhou Metro through a short 100 meter passage at the Yuhang High Speed Railway Station, basically achieving a seamless connection. The Hangzhou-Shaocheng Railway realized a three-dimensional “island folding transfer” at the Girls Bridge Station of Hangzhou Metro Line 5.
On the day of Unicom’s operation, the three rail transit systems have realized the “one ticket” transfer function, while offering concessional schemes to eligible elderly, disabled, primary and secondary school students.

Hangzhou-Shaocheng Railway has also introduced similar convenience measures. As the first urban rail line in Shaoxing, the Hangzhou Shaoxing City Railway was specifically renamed as the Keqiao Section of Shaoxing City Rail Transit Line 1 before its opening. In the future, it will be connected and operated with the Shaoxing City Rail Transit Line 1 under construction in the main city of Shaoxing, making it more convenient for passengers to travel all the way. The Hangzhou Haicheng Railway has long been planning to further closely integrate with the Hangzhou Metro, aiming to further extend westward to the main city of Hangzhou and connect the future Hangzhou Rail Express.

The increasingly dense traffic network eliminates the marginal lines between the two places.
