Recently, the Zhejiang Ecological Culture Association and the Zhejiang Forestry Bureau announced 50 newly named ecological and cultural bases in 2021, including 36 administrative villages, 7 enterprises (cooperatives), 4 nature reserves and state-owned forest farms, and 3 schools and museums. These bases have different styles, deep roots and distinctive characteristics, and are a living model to show the “harmonious coexistence between man and nature and the highly developed ecological civilization” of Zhejiang Province.
As the only museum on the list, what are the ecological tricks of Zhejiang Natural Museum? Yan Hongming, chairman of the Zhejiang Museum Society and president of the Zhejiang Natural Museum, told reporters that the museum that grows in nature has innovatively implemented the “four sections” measures, namely land saving, material saving, water saving and energy saving. For example, the utilization rate of geoenergy heat pump reaches 68.03%, the proportion of hot water provided by solar equipment reaches 29.27%, and the exhaust energy recovery reaches more than 60%.
