DFCI Digital Currency (China) Lab Settled in Hangzhou

Yesterday, the reporter learned from the “Restructuring the World · 2018 Blockchain New Economy Hangzhou Summit” that the DFCI Digital Currency (China) Laboratory, the third professional laboratory in the world and the first in China specializing in researching and testing the operability and security of legal digital currency technology, has officially settled in Hangzhou.
In recent years, Hangzhou has become a pioneer city in the development of blockchain technology in China, with the birth of a large number of blockchain related enterprises and institutions such as Ant Financial, Wanxiang Blockchain Lab, Netease Finance, etc. The blockchain enterprises in Hangzhou urban area are leading the domestic market in terms of both quantity and quality.
“Hangzhou has initially formed the first-mover advantage of blockchain technology, and the next step is to seize the opportunity, deepen the layout, create ecology, vigorously develop the blockchain industry, and promote high-quality economic development,” said the relevant person in charge of Hangzhou.
In order to build a platform conducive to promoting exchanges and cooperation among government agencies, financial institutions, research institutions, etc., this summit specifically introduced cutting-edge institutions in the world’s blockchain technology, established the first DFCI Digital Currency (China) laboratory in Hangzhou, and settled in the Hangzhou Blockchain Industrial Park.
Hangzhou Blockchain Industrial Park is located in Wanhe International, the CBD landmark of Qianjiang Century City. At the summit site, many blockchain related heavyweight enterprises and projects collectively signed agreements to settle in the industrial park.
