After listening to the report on the pilot work, the acceptance team inspected the Dongyufang Pedestrian Street on the spot. Wang Weixin, member of the Standing Committee of Changxing County Party Committee, Wu Yi, deputy director of Huzhou Municipal Bureau of Commerce, Zhu Yiyuan, director of Changxing County Bureau of Commerce, and heads of relevant departments attended the meeting.
Since being shortlisted for the provincial high-quality pedestrian street (pilot) unit, Changxing County has always followed the requirements of the four-level linkage mechanism of “provincial, municipal and county streets”, and carried out the targeted transformation and upgrading plan in an orderly manner. Through more than one year of pilot construction, the appearance of Dongyufang Pedestrian Street has been significantly improved, the commercial quality has been gradually improved, and the economic benefits have been continuously improved, and the construction has achieved phased results. So far in 2020, the passenger flow is about 12 million, and the total turnover has reached 850 million yuan.

A total of 45 reports and on-site meetings were held to solve more than 260 problems and effectively promote the work; We will do our best to provide good services, give preference to the activity resources, strengthen the support for the offline drainage of the block, and set up government-owned promotion venues such as the Changxing Branch of the Lake Trade Fair and the Golden Autumn Shopping Festival in the block to gather popularity and activate the atmosphere; 12 policies including the Several Opinions on Promoting Consumption and Promoting the Steady Growth of Commercial Economy were issued to clarify the financial support for the service industry, such as rent reduction and decoration subsidies for merchants and cultural entrepreneurs who settled in Dongyufang. The reduction and subsidy funds were 17.5 million yuan.

Changxing Purple Sand Museum, Taihu Lake Stone Museum, and Tea Sanjue Museum show the cultural heritage of Dongyu Square. At present, Changxing Non-residue Examination Museum is under renovation, with a total investment of 13 million yuan.

Make every effort to improve the hardware facilities, regularly update the beautiful and old facilities, optimize the block guide function, and reasonably plan the leisure space. Continuously improve the neighborhood environment, enhance the consumption atmosphere, actively guide the neighborhood households to add outdoor display, and improve the overall atmosphere of the neighborhood, while planning multiple multiple business income points, and strengthen the use of public space in the neighborhood. Since this year, more than 30 commercial outdoor displays have been added, 10 new business income points have been added, and more than 400000 income has been increased. Since this year, the rental area of shops on the second floor has increased by 28.5% year-on-year.
