On March 14, this reporter learned from the Zhejiang Work Conference on Aiding Afghanistan that this year, Zhejiang Province plans to arrange 2.1 billion yuan in aid funds and 409 projects for Xinjiang’s Aksu Prefecture and the First Division of the XPCC.
Based on the urgent needs of the grassroots people, 80% of the aid funds of our province this year will be tilted to the grassroots level, mainly to support the development of local industries, people’s livelihood, education, medical care, culture, talents and other aspects. Among the 409 projects, 65 projects related to intellectual support, 105 projects related to industrial support and employment promotion, 92 projects to ensure and improve people’s livelihood, 64 projects related to exchanges and integration, and 83 cultural and educational projects. On this basis, Zhejiang’s aid to Xinjiang will persistently grasp the “two major things” of helping rural revitalization and promoting employment, actively explore long-term mechanisms to consolidate and expand the achievements of poverty alleviation, help promote the organic connection between comprehensive poverty alleviation and rural revitalization, formulate an action plan to promote employment, and implement eight employment projects, including the “golden blue collar” project for cultivating skilled talents and the “entrepreneurship and enrichment of the people” project for entrepreneurship to promote employment.
It is reported that the provincial headquarters for aid to Xinjiang will improve the “four mechanisms” of systematic planning, systematic promotion, inheritance innovation, and integrated work, adhere to checklist and project-based closed-loop management, and continuously improve the comprehensive benefits of counterpart support.
