1993
In May, the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Shanghai sent a letter welcoming and thanking the province for its active exchanges with Jeollanamdo, who is also eager to establish friendly relations with me as soon as possible.
In October, the “Zhejiang Provincial Government Delegation” headed by Governor Wan Xueyuan visited South Jeollah Road, held working talks with Governor Li Junfan on how to carry out friendly exchanges between the two provincial roads, and visited Guangyang Iron Manufacturing Institute and the national industrial cluster of Lichuan City.
In November, at the invitation of Governor Wan Xueyuan, the Quan Luonan government delegation headed by Governor Li Junfan returned to Zhejiang. During the period, Vice Governor Long Anding and Governor Li Junfan signed the Agreement on Friendly Exchange in South Jeollah Road, Zhejiang Province on behalf of both governments.
1994
On July 2, introduced by the Provincial Foreign Affairs Office and approved by the All China Friendship Association, Hangzhou and Lichuan, South Jeollah Road, became sister cities.
1995
In March, Jin Yongjun, the executive of Korean Jinhu Group, and his delegation visited Zhejiang and reached an agreement with Hangzhou Automobile Transportation Corporation on the joint venture construction of a bus station. The total investment is 15 million US dollars, 50% of which is contributed by both parties.
1996
In April, a government delegation led by Xu Jingwan, Governor of South Jeollah, Park Jiongyan, Deputy Governor and Pei Guangyan, Speaker of the Parliament, visited our province. Vice Governor Pu Jiongyan and Vice Governor of Zhejiang Province Lu Songting signed the Memorandum of Understanding on the Establishment of Friendly Provincial Highway Relations in South Jeollah Road, Zhejiang Province, on behalf of both governments. It also held the “Zhejiang South Quanluo Road Investment Fair”.
In June, at the invitation of Xu Jingwan, Governor of Quan Luonan Dao, a delegation of six led by Li Zemin, Director of Zhejiang Provincial People’s Congress, paid a five-day visit to Quan Luonan Dao and other places, and held cordial talks with Quan Luonan Dao Parliament. During the visit to Seoul, the delegation reached a consensus with the ROK on the establishment of an economic coordination committee between Zhejiang Province and LG.
In November, Vice Governor Ye Rongbao led a delegation to visit LG Group to promote the convening of the first meeting of the Economic Coordination Committee between Zhejiang Province and LG Group and future cooperation.

In April, Vice Governor Long Anding led a delegation of five people from Zhejiang Provincial Government to visit South Jeollah Road, and signed the Agreement on Promoting Enterprise Investment in the Two Provincial Roads with Deputy Governor Luo Chengbu on behalf of Zhejiang Provincial Government. He Yifeng, Deputy Director of the Provincial Foreign Affairs Office, signed the Agreement on Mutual Assignment of Civil Servants (Trainees) with Jin Yinglu, Director of South Jeollah Road Economic and Trade, He signed the Rules for the Implementation of the Exchange of Civil Servants (Trainees) with Pei Yongtai, the trade cooperation officer of South Jeollah Road.
In June, Speaker Pei Guangyan and Vice Speaker Li Xiangyun led a delegation of 9 members of the National Assembly to visit Zhejiang. Hold working talks with the Provincial People’s Congress.
In June, Xu Hongdao, deputy director of the Provincial Foreign Affairs Office, Zhang Renshou, deputy president of the Zhejiang Academy of Social Sciences, and others attended the International Academic Conference of the Eight Provincial Roads between South Korea and China hosted by Jeolla Nandao. Zhang Renshou made “Economic Exchanges and Prospects between Zhejiang Province and South Korea” at the conference, which was highly praised.

The official exchange of civil servants between the two provinces began.
In May, Chai Songyue, Governor of Zhejiang Province, led a delegation of Zhejiang Provincial Government to visit South Jeollah, which was warmly welcomed and warmly treated by the South Jeollah Government and Parliament. During the visit, the two sides signed the Agreement on the Conclusion of Friendly Provincial Highway Relations. Zhejiang Province has officially concluded a sister city relationship with South Jeollah.

In August, the Korean youth exchange delegation went to Huzhou to participate in the youth exchange activities of the two provincial highways.
In August, at the invitation of Li Zemin, Director of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People’s Congress, a 17 member delegation of the South Jeollah Parliament led by Che Fenggen, Speaker of South Jeollah Road, visited Zhejiang and also visited Shanghai, Kunming and Guilin. During their stay in Hangzhou, the foreign guests paid a visit to Li Zemin, Director of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People’s Congress, and held working talks with the Provincial People’s Congress.
In October, a Zhejiang friendly delegation headed by Cheng Wei, vice chairman of the CPPCC Provincial Committee, went to South Korea to participate in the “Second Zhejiang · All South Academic Seminar” and the “Daomin Festival” held in Guangzhou. The theme of the seminar is economic exchange.
In November, a delegation of Zhejiang Provincial People’s Congress headed by Sun Youxian, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People’s Congress, visited Quannan, Seoul and Jeju.

In April, a delegation from the South Korean Quanlundo Local Police Department came to Hangzhou for exchanges and held working talks with the Provincial Public Security Department.
In June, a delegation of three led by the Director of Culture and Environment of South Korea’s South Jeollah Road visited Hangzhou and held a tourism seminar on South Jeollah Road in Hangzhou.
In September, a delegation of 7 led by Kim Jae zhe, Deputy Governor of South Korean Quan Luonan Dao Government Affairs, visited Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, and attended the “Third China Zhejiang • South Korean Quan Luonan Dao Academic Seminar”. The theme of the seminar is pollution-free agriculture.
2002
In April, a delegation of 8 from Zhejiang Provincial Government headed by Zhou Guofu, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, visited South Jeollah Road, Seoul and other places. During the visit, I paid a visit to Jin Zaozhe, Deputy Governor of Quanluonandao, and inspected agricultural enterprises in Quanluonandao.
In April, Shen Zulun, the president of the provincial friendship association, led a friendly delegation of Zhejiang Province to visit South Jeollah Road, met with Jin Zazhe, the deputy governor of South Jeollah Road, and visited the Guangzhou Agricultural Association, the Commerce and Industry Conference Institute and Lingyan County.
In late April, seven members of the Zhejiang Provincial Public Security Department, led by Yu Guo, the director of the provincial public security department, visited the Jeollanda Local Police Department and held working talks with the Jeollanda Local Police Department of South Korea.

2003
From September 17 to 20, Zhejiang Provincial Governor Lv Zushan led a delegation of Zhejiang Provincial Government to visit Seoul, South Jeollah Road and Jeju Island. During his visit to Seoul, he met with Yoon Yong kwan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of the Republic of Korea, and visited LG Group, Samsung Electronics and other enterprises; During his visit to Quannan, he signed the Memorandum on the Fifth Anniversary of the Conclusion of Friendly City Relations between Zhejiang Province and Quanluo Nandao with Park Tairong, Governor of Quanluo Nandao, on behalf of the two governments. During this period, he also visited Dongxin University, Guangyang Iron Manufacturing Institute and Biological Research and Development Center in South Jeollah. Governor Lv Zushan was awarded the honorary doctorate of Dongxin University. Governor Lv Zushan presented the honorary certificate of SARS donation (10000 US dollars) to South Jeollah.
In October, the Quan Luonan Dao academic delegation headed by Wu Xuanxie, the deputy governor of Quan Luonan Dao government affairs, visited Zhejiang Province and attended the “5th China Zhejiang • South Korea Quan Luonan Dao Tourism Academic Seminar” jointly organized by the Provincial Foreign Affairs Office and the Provincial Tourism Administration.
In October, a delegation led by Mr. Huang Jinqiu, President of Jeollanamdo Economic Men’s Association of South Korea, visited Hangzhou. During this period, the two provincial road entrepreneurs’ symposium was held (mainly in the construction industry), and 18 enterprises were organized by the Provincial Department of Construction and the Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce to participate.
In November, a delegation from South Korea’s Quanlundo Education Department visited Hangzhou. During this period, I paid a visit to the leaders of the Provincial Department of Education and visited the primary schools, junior high schools and senior high schools in Hangzhou and relevant educational and cultural facilities.
2004
In April, a provincial government delegation headed by Vice Governor Zhong Shan visited South Korea, Japan and other places. The delegation visited the famous iron and steel enterprise – Guangyang Iron and Steel Plant. Song Guangyun, Deputy Administrative Governor of South Jeollah, and the delegation had an extensive and fruitful dialogue on the future exchanges and cooperation between the two provincial highways. On the 12th, the first delegation held a tourism promotion conference in Seoul.
In June, Huang, President of Quanluonandao Economic Men’s Association, led a delegation of 45 Quanluonandao entrepreneurs this autumn to participate in the “Sixth Zhejiang Investment and Trade Fair and the Third China International Consumer Goods Fair”. Korea Loess Co., Ltd. and Korea Green Industry Co., Ltd. exhibited their products at the Consumer Expo.
From June 22 to June 28, the academic delegation of Zhejiang Province headed by Dong Yu’e, the director and professor of dermatology department of Zhejiang Provincial People’s Hospital, went to Jeollanamdo, South Korea to participate in the “Sixth Jeollanamdo Zhejiang International Academic Seminar”, the theme of which was women.
From July 21 to August 1, Zhang Mengjin, Executive Vice Governor of Zhejiang Province, led a delegation of 6 people from the provincial government to visit South Jeollah Road. During their stay in South Korea, the delegation also inspected the two major business groups in South Korea – Samsung Group and Xiaoxing Group. They also visited Busan, Jeju and other places.
In August, the South Korean Jeollanamdo Youth Exchange Group came to Zhejiang for exchange.
In September, Governor Lv Zushan met with Mr. Li Junfan, President of Dongxin University of Korea, and his delegation of six. During their stay in Hangzhou, the delegation from Dongxin University of Korea visited Zhejiang University of Technology and signed a friendly exchange agreement with Zhejiang University of Technology.
In October, the South Korean South Jeolla Women’s Delegation headed by Park Huizi of the South Korean South Jeolla Women’s Welfare Bureau visited Hangzhou and held a symposium with the President of the Provincial Women’s Federation.
2005
In May, a delegation led by Liu Renxie, President of the South Korean Academy of Agricultural Technology, visited Zhejiang Province and made a field visit to the five pollution agricultural production bases and agricultural product processing enterprises (Jinhua City) in relevant regions of our province.
In June, Li Buxing, secretary-general of the Standing Committee of the Zhejiang Provincial People’s Congress, led a delegation of six people from the Zhejiang Provincial People’s Congress to visit Quanluonan Road.
The delegation attended the “2005 China Zhejiang (South Korea) Investment Conference” in Seoul, and paid a visit to the governor of South Jeollah, Park Seong ying, and others in South Jeollah. He Jun, Deputy Secretary General of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, Ruan Zhongxun, Director of the Provincial Foreign Affairs Office, and so on.
In August, a delegation of 30 young people from Zhejiang Province, organized by Huzhou City, went to South Jeollah Road, South Korea for exchanges.
In August, Bai Zhongcai, a civil servant of Quanluonan Road, finished his one-year study and returned home successfully.
On September 27, the 7th China Zhejiang • South Korea Jeollanamdo Marine Economy Academic Seminar jointly held by Zhejiang Province and South Korea Jeollanamdo governments was grandly held in Ningbo. The theme of this seminar is marine economy – active Zhejiang Province • Jeollanamdo marine economic exchange and cooperation, which was jointly organized by the Provincial Foreign Affairs Office, the Provincial Marine Fisheries Bureau, Ningbo University and the Jeollanamdo Economic and Trade Bureau of South Korea. A total of 6 experts and scholars from Zhejiang Province and South Jeollah Road published papers at the seminar. That night, Ba Yinchao Lu, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and secretary of the Ningbo Municipal Party Committee, met with Song Guangyun, deputy governor of Quanluonandao and the scholars. At the meeting, leaders from the Provincial Foreign Affairs Office, the Provincial Marine Fisheries Administration, Ningbo City and Ningbo University were present.
In the middle of October, the delegation of Quannan Local Police Department headed by Han Kangze, the director of Quannan Local Police Department, visited China.
In November, our province selected Gu Hongfei from the Provincial Oceanic and Fishery Bureau as our provincial civil servant to study in South Jeollah Road, South Korea, in 2005, for a one-year study in South Jeollah Road.
From November 4 to 5, a delegation of 9 people led by South Korea’s South Jeollah Dojo Governor Park Seong ying visited Zhejiang Province. This visit is the first official visit to our province since Pu Zhiying was elected governor of Quanluonan Dao in July 2004.
In late November, in order to promote the substantial cooperation and exchange between the iron and steel industry of Zhejiang Province and South Korea and Japan, a delegation of Hangzhou Iron and Steel Group headed by Tong Yunfang, chairman of Hangzhou Iron and Steel Group, visited POSCO Guangyang Iron and Steel Institute in South Korea.
2006
On February 15, a delegation of 10 headed by Li Guangjiong, the head of the South Jeollah Road Tourism Development Course in South Korea, visited Hangzhou and Ningbo. The delegation consulted with the Provincial Foreign Affairs Office and the Provincial Commission of Ethnic Minorities and Religious Affairs on the plan to hold the activity of reincarnating Buddhism in South Korea (South Jeollah) in April.
On April 6, a delegation of four headed by Yoon Kwang soo, the head of the Department of Economy and Commerce of South Jeollah do, South Korea, visited Hangzhou and held regular consultations on the exchange plan of the two provincial roads in 2006. He Yifeng, deputy director of the provincial foreign affairs office, and Lu Guohao, vice president of the provincial friendship association hosted a banquet for the delegation.
From April 3 to 13, the delegation of Zhejiang People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, led by Liang Pingbo, Executive Vice Chairman of the Provincial CPPCC and President of the Provincial Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, paid a friendly visit to South Korea at the invitation of friends such as the Korea China Goodwill Association and the Jeollanamdo Government of South Korea, and was accompanied by Lu Guohao, full-time vice president of the Provincial Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries. During their stay in the ROK, the delegation paid tribute to the ROK China Goodwill Association, the Jeollanamdo government and our embassy in the ROK.
On May 26, the Provincial Foreign Affairs Office approved Tiantai County to conclude friendly exchanges with South Jeollah do and Heshun Prefecture of South Korea.
Jin Yinglu was appointed as the Deputy Administrative Governor, and the Provincial Foreign Affairs Office sent congratulatory messages.
From September 18 to 20, Wang Huizhong, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and director of the provincial public security department, and a delegation of seven visited the Jeollanamdo Local Police Department in South Korea, held a discussion with the Jeollanamdo Local Police Department in South Korea on the future exchanges between the two police departments, and visited Seoul and other places. The delegation paid tribute to Han Kangze, the Deputy Minister of the Police Department of the Republic of Korea (equivalent to the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Public Security), and visited the Korean Police University and Samsung Electronics Suwon Factory.
October 18-23. Our province sent a delegation composed of three senior chefs from Hangzhou Huajia Mountain Villa to participate in the 13th Nandao Food Culture Festival, and won praise for their excellent cooking skills.
On October 31, Lou Zhiming, assistant director of the Information Industry Department of Zhejiang Province, led a delegation to South Jeollah Road to participate in the “8th Zhejiang Province · South Jeollah Road International Academic Seminar”. The theme of this seminar is “cultivating innovative industries in the 21st century”.
2007
In March, Cui Hanshan, a professor of Quannan University in South Jeollah, came to Zhejiang for one year as an exchange civil servant in 2007.
In late March, Shen Lei, Chairman of the Internal Affairs and Justice Committee of the Provincial People’s Congress, led a delegation of the Provincial People’s Congress to visit the Quanlundo Parliament.
At the end of July, Quzhou sent a youth exchange delegation from Zhejiang Province to South Quanluo Road for exchange.
In August, a regular agreement delegation headed by Wang Xiaofeng, Deputy Director of the Provincial Foreign Affairs Office, visited South Jeollah Road, Jeju Island and other places, and conducted friendly consultations with South Jeollah Road on future exchanges between the two provincial roads.
From November 13 to 14, a seven member academic delegation led by Li Xiangmian, the deputy governor of South Korea, visited our province. On the evening of November 13, Chen Jiayuan, the deputy governor of the province, met with the foreign guests at the Foreign Guest Meeting Hall of the Provincial Foreign Affairs Office and hosted a banquet for the academic delegation. He Yifeng, inspector of the provincial foreign affairs office, Huang Yongzheng, director of the provincial aging work committee and deputy director of the provincial civil affairs department, and others attended the meeting. On the 14th, the “9th Zhejiang Province · South Quanluo Road Academic Seminar” was held in the World Trade Hall of Zhejiang World Trade Center Hotel. At the opening ceremony, Vice Governor Chen Jiayuan and Vice Governor Li Xiangmian delivered congratulatory speeches on behalf of the Zhejiang Provincial Government and the Quanluonandao Government respectively. A total of 6 experts on aging in Zhejiang Province and South Jeollah Road published papers at the seminar.
2008
In February, Cui Hanshan, a 2007 civil servant exchange in Quanlunan Dao, returned home after a one-year study.
In March, Yin Shixuan, the head of the economic policy section of Quanluonandao, led a regular consultation delegation to Hangzhou to consult with the Asian Office of the Provincial Foreign Affairs Office on the exchange and cooperation plan of the two provincial highways in 2008.
In May, Cui Zheng, an exchange official of Quan Luonan Dao in 2008, came to Hangzhou for a one-year study. Peng Bo, Deputy Director of the Provincial Foreign Affairs Office, held a banquet to welcome Cui Zheng to Hangzhou.
