Tan Yunzhi, chairman of Hong Kong Bar Association and senior barrister, and his 14-member delegation, accompanied by Wang Zhenmin, Minister of Legal Department of Hong Kong Liaison Office, Yu Xuejie, Deputy Minister, visited our province from May 13th to 14th.
On the morning of 14th, the Hong Kong Bar Association signed a cooperation agreement with Hangzhou Bar Association, and some Hong Kong barristers were also employed as consultants of Hangzhou Bar Association. This is another cooperation between Hong Kong Bar Association and mainland counterparts after signing cooperation agreements with Shanghai Bar Association and Zhejiang Bar Association. This will play a positive role in promoting the legal cooperation between Hong Kong and the Mainland, and will also provide more convenience for enterprises in our province to go global in legal consultation and services. On the afternoon, the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office, the Provincial Economic and Information Committee and the Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce invited more than 30 private enterprises in our province to conduct in-depth exchanges and discussions with delegations on intellectual property legal business and assisting enterprises to “go global”.
Yu Xihua, deputy director of the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office, met with the delegation.
