In addition to the color of “Tiffany Blue”, the appearance of the AH model of Line 5 keeps the consistent style of Hangzhou Metro and will not feel very different. The train is also 6-car formation, with four motor cars and two trailers. The total length of the train is 120 meters, and the design maximum speed is 80 kilometers per hour. These are no different from the trains running on the existing lines.
The biggest feature of the AH model is that it is fatter, wider and can accommodate more people than the existing B model.
The AH model is more like the A model, in which the vehicle width and door width are highlighted.
Don’t underestimate these two data. The width of B type car is 2.88 meters, and the width of AH type car is 3.08 meters. With this small increase, the overall passenger capacity is 10% higher than the existing models;
Now the doors of running trains are 1.3 meters wide, while the doors of AH cars are 1.4 meters wide, which you may not feel in reality, but in fact, this door width directly determines the evacuation ability of getting on and off passengers. During non peak periods, getting on and off passengers is more spacious, not crowded, and has better evacuation ability corresponding to high and late peak periods.

The temperature in the compartment can be adjusted at will
There is still a big change to the AH model of Line 5, which has a lot to do with our passengers. The heating under the seat has been removed.

Don’t be afraid, it still has a change to make up for. The new air conditioning function of Line 5 AH model allows the temperature in the compartment to be adjusted at will during train operation. At that time, the air outlet temperature can be automatically adjusted according to season and passenger capacity.
Don’t underestimate this change. At present, the air conditioners of the trains of Line 1, 2 and 4 are set through the program. Once the train is put into operation, the temperature should be as high as it should be, and the temperature cannot be adjusted on the way.
The reporter of Qian Bao also helped us to experience that although the temperature was only 4 ℃ in the morning, the seats in the AH car were not cold. Of course, this may have something to do with the new car’s air conditioner.

The 42.7 inch high-definition LCD dynamic map is adopted for AH model of Line 5, which is much more advanced than the existing “advanced and foreign style”. The passengers can see the train operation more clearly when sitting on the seats.
Of course, such advanced high-definition LCD dynamic map design has something to do with the long line of Line 5, which covers 40 stations and 7 urban areas. If you don’t make it more advanced, passengers will be dazzled!
In addition to this “advanced”, there is also a “more advanced”: the interior lights of Line 5 will change color (not the kind of KTV)!
There is only one light color in the existing train compartment, cold light; The AH model of Line 5 adds warm color light, which will make passengers more comfortable to ride according to different time periods and scenes.

At present, there are only two trains to Hangzhou, but the reporter from Qian News learned that 61 AH trains will be put into operation by the beginning of the trial operation of Line 5 this year.
In addition, of the 38 stations in Phase I and Phase II of Metro Line 5, 25 stations have completed their main structures, are undergoing mechanical and electrical installation and decoration, 14 interstation tunnels have been connected in both directions, and track laying is under way. Other stations, interstation tunnels, Wuchang Depot, and Girls’ Bridge parking lot are under construction. The first and second phases of Metro Line 5 are planned to be put into trial operation before the end of this year.
