Director Yang Jianwu highly affirmed the achievements of the 6th Provincial Cultural Relics Appraisal Committee in his speech, and believed that the Provincial Cultural Relics Appraisal Committee had fully played the role of “the eye of fire” and “the strongest brain”, providing a strong intellectual support for the development of the cultural relics museum cause of our province. This year marks the 100th anniversary of the founding of the CPC, the 100th anniversary of the birth of modern Chinese archaeology, and the beginning of the 14th Five Year Plan. At such a special node, the development of cultural relics museums in our province has entered a new stage. In order to adapt to the new situation and new requirements of the development of cultural relics museums and realize the high-quality development of cultural relics museums in our province in the new era, Director Yang Jianwu put forward five suggestions and requirements for the future work of the new appraisal committee. First, we should keep a bottom line. Each member of the appraisal committee must strictly abide by relevant laws and regulations and various management regulations of the committee, and firmly hold the bottom line of professional ethics; Second, we should maintain a loyal heart. Always uphold a heart of justice, awe and dedication; Third, we should practice a pair of insight. Keep a modest and prudent attitude and never stop learning; Fourth, we should bring out a team. Efforts should be made to form a team of cultural relics identification experts “handed down from generation to generation, with talents emerging in large numbers”; Fifth, we should uphold enthusiasm. Give full play to the wisdom of experts, actively offer advice and suggestions, and inject enthusiasm and warmth into the cause of cultural relics museum and the happiness of the people.
