According to statistics, 80 pieces of collection were identified in the city museum during the identification activity, most of which were calligraphy, painting and ceramics. The appraisal experts took this activity to remind the vast number of enthusiasts that collection should not be carried out with the psychological impulse of “leak detection”. Only by visiting museums more, observing the details of cultural relics in the collection, and learning to appreciate them, can we better experience the fun of collection.
After the on-site treasure identification activity, the collectors also listened to the special lecture of “My Opinion on the Identification of Ancient Ceramics” by Ma Zhengming to further learn about the identification methods of ceramics.
