On November 25, Chen Guangsheng, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of the Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, investigated Zhejiang Art Museum. Chen Guangsheng stressed that it is necessary to deeply study and implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC), to tell Chinese stories and show Zhejiang’s style with high-level exhibition and research, and to contribute to promoting the cultural prosperity of the whole region and the spirit of the whole people.
Chen Guangsheng successively watched the 4th Hangzhou Fiber Art Triennial and Lanting Calligraphy Society Biennial, exchanged ideas with curators, and listened to the work report of the leading group of Zhejiang Art Museum.
At the symposium, Chen Guangsheng and the participants reviewed the history of Zhejiang Art Museum from its motion, construction to opening.
Centering on the development of Zhejiang Art Museum, Chen Guangsheng proposed four requirements:
First, promote the exhibition to show new brilliance. Collection is the root, exhibition is the soul. It not only finds the right entry point in keeping with the theme of the times, but also extracts the highlights in grasping the pulse of art, and plans to hold a series of high-level and influential special exhibitions. We should enhance our international vision, combine “going out” with “bringing in”, and establish the cultural standing and artistic style of Zhejiang Museum in the exchange and cooperation with domestic and foreign art museums and museums.
The second is to promote art popularization in depth. Art museums should be committed to becoming the leaders of the aesthetic education and artistic life of the masses. We will continue to explore the construction of rural art museums, iteratively cultivate aesthetic villages, and better become an important carrier of the “artistic spark” project, so as to promote the sinking of provincial and municipal resources and the activation of the whole social resources, and to brighten the countryside and beautify the land of Zhejiang with artistic spark.
The third is to promote mass communication. The art museum should further strengthen the concept of flow, especially promote the digital reform, make good use of “Internet plus” to expand the publicity momentum, and leverage the development increment with network flow. At the same time, we always adhere to the principle of “content is king”, and strive to promote “hot money” and create “hot spots” by improving the level of public services, so as to form a snowball communication effect.
Fourth, promote the orderly construction of talent echelon. The first-class art museums should make efforts to improve their research level, which cannot be separated from the support of talents. The construction of talent team should be put at the top of the list, and the construction of echelon should be strengthened. In particular, we should pay attention to the training of compound talents with both research and management qualities, create the advantages of running a library with the advantages of people, and ensure that the cause is handed down from generation to generation.
