In order to enhance the understanding of civil servants of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government of the Mainland of the Mainland and their sense of belonging to the country, a 22-member delegation from the Mainland of Hong Kong visited Hangzhou, Jiaxing and other places in our province from 13 to 17 April.
During their stay in Hangzhou, the delegation held special discussions with the Provincial Development and Reform Commission (Provincial Energy Bureau), the Provincial Economic and Information Commission, the Zhejiang Supervision Office of the National Energy Administration, the Provincial Electric Power Company, Zhejiang Energy Group, the Provincial Electric Power Design Institute, the East China Survey and Design Institute and other departments, and visited Hangzhou Huadian Banshan Power Generation Co., Ltd. and Zhejiang Electric Power Dispatching and Control Center to gain an in-depth understanding of the current situation of energy development, future planning and application management in our province.
During their stay in Jiaxing, centering on the theme of “Nuclear Power Construction Project: Qinshan Nuclear Power Plant”, the delegation had in-depth exchanges with experts from the preparatory group of Qinshan Nuclear Power Group and China Nuclear Power Operation Management Co., Ltd. on the situation of China’s independent development of nuclear power industry, especially the country’s relevant deployment in nuclear safety and application. He visited the photovoltaic industrial park in Xiuzhou District to understand the relevant policies and development status of clean energy development and utilization in our province. In addition, the delegation also visited the Hangzhou Bay Bridge and Jiaxing Nanhu Memorial Hall.
During her stay in Zhejiang, Mo Lili, deputy inspector of the provincial Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office, met and hosted a banquet for the delegation.
