It is understood that during the off-season tourism, only one home stay in Yanhaishanju has held 12 training meetings with more than 300 participants. The off-season “training craze” further optimizes the tourism industry chain, helping to balance the tourism industry income in the off peak season.
In recent years, Dongtou District Culture, Broadcasting, Tourism and Sports Bureau, closely focusing on the work goal of “stimulating consumption and promoting market recovery”, has introduced preferential policies, created tourism brands, and released off-season tourism products to boost the rapid recovery and strong development of the off-season culture and tourism market. In 2020, the whole district received 6.953 million tourists in total, realizing a comprehensive tourism income of 6.762 billion yuan, an increase of 2.1% year on year. Among them, the reception of overnight tourists accounted for 20.11% of tourists. To guide tourists to spend their holidays in the off-season, make up for the shortcomings of winter tourism in Dongtou, realize the normalization of off-season tourism, help upgrade tourism consumption, and achieve high-quality development of cultural tourism economy.
