—— In 2015, the 4th training course on application and promotion of innovative methods in the whole province was successfully held.
In order to conform to the new trend and requirements of mass entrepreneurship and innovation, and cultivate innovative talents who master scientific thinking, scientific methods and tools, it is sponsored by the Provincial Science and Technology Department, and jointly undertaken by the Provincial Science and Technology Talent Education Center and Zhejiang Vocational and Technical College of Industry and Commerce. The 4th training course on application and promotion of innovative methods was successfully held in Ningbo in 2015, which lasted for one week. Nearly 50 teachers and technical R&D backbones from provincial universities and provincial (key) enterprise research institutes attended the training.
This training adopts the theoretical outline and curriculum system of innovative engineers (level 1 and level 2) in Zhejiang Province, employs local teachers, and focuses on the technical innovations such as 40 invention principles, 76 standard solutions, 8 rules of system evolution, and management innovations such as industrial engineering, lean production and six sigma. There are both teachers’ centralized lectures and innovative methods. TRIZ application cases are discussed in groups, so that students can systematically master all kinds of tools and methods for analyzing and solving problems in TRIZ. After the training course, the trainees took the written examination of national innovation engineer (Level 1 and Level 2) certification, and the qualified personnel will be included in the training database of innovative method application experts in our province, so as to provide alternative talents for serving regional scientific and technological innovation and promoting enterprises to become innovation subjects.
This training has gathered a group of people who are interested in theoretical research, application, promotion and teaching of innovative methods. Nearly half of the trainees are from seven universities, including Zhejiang Vocational and Technical College of Commerce, Zhejiang Vocational and Technical College of Commerce and Jiaxing College. Highly educated and younger is one of the characteristics of this student. Among them, the master’s degree or above accounts for 52%, and the intermediate title accounts for 68%, which will accumulate valuable resources for the cultivation of local teachers in Zhejiang. Students generally reflect that TRIZ theory is profound and systematic. In the future work, they will further integrate methods and work, and strive to overcome the problems of scientific and technological innovation.
Since 2012, the Provincial Department of Science and Technology has conducted three rounds of lectures on innovative methods in all cities of the province. This time, Ningbo is preferred as a pilot to explore the training and promotion mode of in-depth cooperation between cities and universities in innovative methods. The training class has been highly valued and strongly supported by the leaders of Zhejiang Vocational and Technical College of Industry and Commerce, and will actively promote and integrate innovative methods in the innovation and entrepreneurship curriculum system of our school.
The foundation of enterprise’s sustainable development, the way to win the market lies in innovation. By mastering scientific methods and tools, the efficiency and quality of innovation will be improved. In the next step, the municipal science and technology bureaus and colleges and universities will establish workstations for the popularization and application of innovative methods to form a network-based popularization pattern. Advanced training will be conducted among the first-level innovative engineers, and a group of second-and third-level innovative engineers and innovative trainers will be trained to serve a group of enterprises with innovative needs and innovative awareness, and the implementation of innovation-driven development strategy will be accelerated.
