From March 31 to April 2, Jiang Heyuan, the special commissioner for science and technology of the Tea Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, came to Zhoushan She Nationality Township, Wencheng County to carry out technical guidance on tea picking and processing, and carry out live broadcast service for tea marketing. Local tea farmers heard that Jiang Heyuan, the special commissioner for science and technology, was in Zhoushan to lay down their agricultural work and ask for advice on tea processing methods. During this period, the delegation led by Jiangheyuan Science and Technology Commissioner visited the tea enterprises and bases in Wencheng County Sheshan Agricultural Cooperative, Zhejiang Tiansheng Huangming Tea Company, Wencheng County Fengshuping Tea Cooperative, Zhoushanjixia Village Old Tea Garden, Zhoushan Shangkeng Village New Tea Garden, Zhoushan Township Changlian Family Farm, and Zhoushan Township Shangkeng Village. At the Sheshan Agricultural Cooperative in Wencheng County, Jiangheyuan Science and Technology Commissioner tasted the black tea, yellow leaf tea and green tea produced by the cooperative one by one, and proposed to promote yellow tea in Beijing, Hangzhou and other places. In view of the uneven clustering of black tea, it is proposed that the processing quality of black tea can be better and more stable, and it looks more uniform and more attractive through manual dispersion in the later stage. In Zhejiang Tiansheng Huangming Tea Industry Co., Ltd., Jiangheyuan Science and Technology Commissioner went deep into the production and processing workshop to guide workers in the method and process of making black tea and yellow tea. In Fengshuping Tea Cooperative of Wencheng County, Jiangheyuan Science and Technology Commissioner instructed the cooperative on how to make green tea and black tea in the process of making green tea, withering, rolling, fermentation and drying methods and time requirements. In the old tea garden of Xiacun Village on the border of Zhoushan Mountain, Jiangheyuan Science and Technology Commissioner guided the tea farmers to pick tea by hand, and grasped the standard methods of tea picking such as tenderness, evenness and purity, so as to provide good raw materials for the later production of high-quality tea. In the new tea garden of Shangkeng Village, Zhoushan Township, Jiangheyuan Science and Technology Special Representative inspected the growth and germination of new yellow leaf tea trees on the spot, and put forward guidance for tea picking and pruning in the later period. At Changlian Family Farm in Zhoushan Township, Jiang Heyuan’s special envoy explained to tea farmers how to improve the aroma quality of black tea. On the evening of April 1, in Wuyang Village, Zhoushan Township, local tea quality assessment and scientific tea awareness live broadcast were carried out. This live broadcast introduced 3 kinds of local alpine ecological black tea, alpine old tree black tea and other tea products. Jiangheyuan Science and Technology Commissioner explained the concept of black tea, the difference between black tea and other teas, the unique quality of Zhoushan black tea, the processing method and technology of black tea, and the efficacy of black tea in the live broadcast room, and actively promoted black tea products in combination with the good local ecological environment.
Jiang Heyuan Science and Technology Commissioner is a researcher and doctoral supervisor of the Tea Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences.
