Chu Ziyu said in his speech that in recent years, the development of red tourism resources in Zhejiang has been booming. The whole province already has 10 national-level classic red tourism scenic spots and 15 provincial-level red tourism education bases with good representativeness, strong education and excellent experience. These red cultural tourism scenic spots have become important halls for party member people to inherit the red genes and practice the red spirit. In the next step, Zhejiang will continue to dig deep into the connotation of red tourism thought, inherit and develop the Zhejiang spirit of seeking truth and being pragmatic, being honest and harmonious, and being open to the outside world. It will make more contributions to the construction of “two high levels” with the overall goal of building a national cultural highland, the best tourist destination in China, and a national model land for the integration and development of cultural tourism.
At the event site, the Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism signed a co-construction agreement with Zhejiang Armed Police Corps. The two sides will jointly promote the establishment of integration of defense and civilian technologies Red Culture Research Teaching Point, and organize and plan the special practice activities of “Red Tour” of the Armed Police Force. The event also launched four Zhejiang red tourism boutique routes, such as the “spirit” tour in northern Zhejiang, the “bonfire” tour in southern Zhejiang, the “mountains and seas” tour in eastern Zhejiang and the “faith” tour in western Zhejiang, and awarded the second and third batches of 12 provincial red tourism education bases in Zhejiang Province. Travel agencies and investors from various cities signed contracts with 15 red tourism bases in the whole province, and the former site of the 13th Army of Chinese Workers and Peasants Red Army in Yongjia County was used as red tourism.
After the launching ceremony, 30 media at the central, provincial and municipal levels formed a media gathering group of “Red Moving Zhejiang Beginner’s Journey”, and inspected 15 red tourist bases in Zhejiang in three lines. They will spread and promote Zhejiang’s red tourism culture and educational resources through words, pictures, videos and live broadcasts.
It is understood that this “Red Move Zhejiang” 2019 Red Tourism Season will last until October. In addition to the “initial journey of thousands of people”, there will be a red tourism route design contest, a red story speech contest in Zhejiang, Fujian and Jiangxi provinces, a red tourism innovation and development summit forum in Zhejiang province, and a series of theme publicity activities in 70 years.
