On the morning of October 19th, the Buddhist Association of Putuo District, Zhoushan City held a meeting on the financial work of monasteries in the whole district at the reception temple. Nearly 50 people from monasteries, cashiers and accountants from all districts attended the meeting, and Yang Wenzhong, deputy director of the United Front Work Department of the District Committee and director of the District Ethnic Affairs Bureau, attended the meeting.
Secretary-General Ye Zunchang of the Buddhist Association of the District informed the financial inspection, made a comprehensive analysis of the main problems found in the inspection, and commended a number of outstanding financial staff at the meeting.
Director Yang Wenzhong stressed: First, financial supervision should be strengthened. Apart from the financial census once every two years, the Buddhist Association of the district will supervise and spot-check the financial management tendency, inadequate rectification, major engineering projects and implementation of financial system, so as to promote the institutionalization and normalization of financial supervision. Second, it is necessary to deepen the system reform, and the Buddhist Association in the district should constantly explore the financial system reform in line with the actual situation of the whole district, so as to promote the increasingly standardized financial management of monasteries. Third, the financial system should be strict. The financial leaders and financial staff of each temple should not only be familiar with various financial systems, but more importantly, strictly abide by and implement them, so as to manage the temple well.
