Recently, Zhejiang Sci-Tech University and Shendang Town Zhejiang Huashaite New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. jointly set up the “Zhejiang Sci-Tech University-Zhejiang Huashaite New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. Functional Polymer Materials R&D Center” signing ceremony, which was held in Zhejiang Sci-Tech University. Through the establishment of R&D center, the two sides deepened the cooperation between Industry-University-Research and further enhanced the technological innovation ability of enterprises.
“R&D Center of Functional Polymer Materials” is to explore and transform the cutting-edge technology of plexiglass functionalization, and promote the technological innovation with plexiglass as the carrier. Plexiglass materials have been listed in the top ten key areas of “Made in China 2025” and the catalogue of “Four Basics” of industry, belonging to the field of new materials. The products are highly in line with the national and provincial industrial policy guidance, and have huge room for growth. The establishment of “R&D Center for Functional Polymer Materials” will contribute to the development of new materials.
At the signing ceremony, Fu Yaqin, Party Secretary of School of Materials Science and Engineering of Zhejiang Sci-Tech University, introduced the development of School of Materials of Zhejiang Sci-Tech University. Zhuang Jiayue, deputy magistrate of Haiyan County People’s Government, introduced the economic and social development of Haiyan in recent years, congratulated the school-enterprise R&D center project and put forward suggestions and expectations. Yin Genhua, chairman of Zhejiang Huashaite New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. said that this cooperation will be an important milestone in the development of Huashaite enterprises. The joint construction of a research and development center for polymer new materials has greatly enhanced Huashaite’s research and development capability, and will greatly boost Huashaite’s further market development in the field of polymer materials.
