Hu Shaoqing, with the title of “Progress in Osmanthus fragrans Breeding and Current Status of Authorization of New Varieties”, gave a simple explanation about the new varieties and authorization of Osmanthus fragrans, further strengthened the training and reserve of professional and technical talents, and achieved the activity effect of boosting industry, promoting employment, stabilizing income, and further boosting rural revitalization.
On the same day, the District Science and Technology Bureau and the District Science and Technology Association carried out the publicity of science and technology and popular science knowledge, and distributed more than 300 copies of publicity materials such as “Popular Science in Four Seasons” and “Diet for the Elderly”; The district fire rescue brigade also carried out fire safety knowledge publicity; The special commissioners for science and technology, in combination with their respective specialties, carried out technical consultation on garden plants, fruit and vegetable planting, agricultural machinery, animal husbandry and veterinary medicine, aquaculture and other technologies, and distributed publicity materials and a number of vegetable seeds.
After the activity, provincial and municipal science and technology special commissioners also went to Jinhua Bayue Osmanthus Professional Cooperative to give on-site guidance on osmanthus planting and pest control, and effectively sent their knowledge and technology to the “field”.
