About 40 people from the Commerce Bureaus of various cities, Yiwu City, Shengzhou City, Xinchang County, Anji County and Yuhang District attended the meeting.
At the meeting, the leaders in charge of 11 prefectures and cities including Hangzhou, Ningbo and Wenzhou, as well as Yiwu City and 4 counties (cities and districts) respectively reported on the main work of the region in the first half of the year and the work measures in the second half of the year. At the meeting, the requirements for the national-level pilot work of trade adjustment assistance were discussed and deployed, and the Finance Division of the Department explained the requirements and progress of the use of provincial funds.
In his concluding speech, Zhang Shuming first fully affirmed the “new” achievements made in Zhejiang’s trade remedy investigation in the first half of the year. He pointed out that at present, the global epidemic continues to repeat, the world economy is in serious recession, the global economic and trade pattern is facing a new round of reconstruction, the foreign trade environment facing our province is becoming more severe and complex, and the challenges faced by trade remedy work need to be paid great attention to. In the next step, Zhejiang’s trade remedy investigation work should meet the new requirements of the “important window” and firmly grasp the three key points. The first is to innovate trade adjustment assistance and promote the implementation of pilot projects. It is necessary to improve the working mechanism, give full play to the initiative, design a trade adjustment aid implementation plan that suits the actual situation, and ensure the effectiveness of the work. The second is to attach great importance to Sino-US economic and trade frictions and continue to pay attention to accurate research and judgment. It is necessary to strengthen coordination and cooperation and strengthen the response force. The third is to strengthen early warning and monitoring of key cases, key industries, and key enterprises. It is necessary to strengthen risk prevention and control, safeguard industrial safety and enterprise interests.
