The promotion activity presented the guests with a long scroll of landscapes and humanities that demonstrated Zhejiang characteristics and was full of poetic and picturesque atmosphere with elaborately produced promotion videos and wonderful artistic performances. Deputy Director Diao Yuquan and Ms. Elizabeth Chin delivered speeches respectively. Deputy Director Diao Yuquan pointed out that Zhejiang and the United States have different natural scenery and cultural traditions, but there is huge space for cultural and tourism cooperation. Zhejiang is willing to further deepen cultural tourism exchanges and cooperation with the United States to jointly promote the healthy and sustainable development of culture and tourism. Ms. Elizabeth Chin focused on sharing the culture of silk, tea, porcelain and food in Zhejiang, which aroused great interest of the participants. The activity site also set up an exhibition area for exquisite pictures, exquisite tourism crafts and tea ceremony interaction, so that you can learn about Zhejiang’s unique natural environment and colorful folk culture in a short time.
On August 16, the Zhejiang cultural tourism experience activity of “Looking through Zhejiang” was held in Harvard Square, where Boston has the strongest humanistic atmosphere and the crowd is concentrated. The innovative exhibition area, exquisite graphic display and colorful on-site experience activities attracted hundreds of tourists to spontaneously participate in and forward the relevant content of the activity, greatly increasing the exposure of the activity.
