In order to further do a good job in the prevention and control of epidemic diseases in the religious field, Dinghai District Ethnic and Religious Affairs Bureau of Zhoushan City recently convened an expanded meeting of the district’s religious group leaders to deploy the work of epidemic prevention and control. Shen Yan, deputy director of the United Front Work Department of the District Party Committee and director of ethnic and religious affairs, presided over the meeting and delivered a speech. The district’s religious group leaders and leaders of key religious venues attended the meeting.
Shen Yan conveyed the relevant spirit of the provincial, municipal and district epidemic prevention and control work conference and the relevant document requirements of the provincial and civil religious departments on the epidemic prevention and control work at the meeting, and put forward three requirements for the epidemic prevention and control work in the religious field:
First, we should raise awareness. Fully understand the importance and urgency of doing a good job in the prevention and control of the COVID-19, pay close attention to the dynamic information of the epidemic and the changes in medium and high risk areas, always tighten the root of epidemic prevention and control, and firmly hold the bottom line of epidemic prevention and control in the religious field.
Second, we should tighten the pass. It is necessary to strictly implement the prevention and control measures such as lighting the health code and journey code when entering religious sites, temperature measurement, appointment, wearing masks, and one meter line. It is strictly forbidden for people from other provinces and cities with medium and high risks to enter religious sites.
Third, we should strengthen management. Strengthen the management of religious staff, and implement the requirements of not leaving the province or exchanging visits across cities when it is not necessary. Strengthen the management of religious activities, implement the requirement of not holding large-scale religious activities and unusual religious activities unnecessarily, and implement the “double suspension” for all places in the region.
The conference also conveyed and learned the spirit of the National Conference on Religious Work.
